It feels like waking up in the middle of the night and watching Arsenal lose a match. Waking up at 8am to watch the American Idol Finale was originally something much enjoyable, until the winner was announced, then, I realized, American Idol is crap. lol. Screw them, screw fans who vote for Kris only because he looks good (when this is a singing competition), screw fans who vote for Kris only because they are homophobic (when this is, once again, a singing competition). Really, I've looked at every possible angles and Kris doesn't even deserve to win, lol. I bet the judges are going to agree that Adam was robbed. I bet it is one of the few times that Paula has mispredicted the winner. It's frustrating, awrgh. Oh wells, I can only sit here and wait patiently till Adam's album is being cut. I'll buy it off the shelves for sure. Other than the results, every other things were great. The performances, it was one huge treat early in the morning. lol. Lots of laugh, lots of performances that I was in awe of. The arrival of Jason Mraz, my jaw dropped, like o.O Boy, is this Finale a big one, lol. Lucky Anoop Dawgg and Alexis, to be singing alongside this huge superstar. lol. And then it was Queen Latifah. Like duh, who else to put alongside Queen Latifah than Lil' Rounds! lol. Scream your lungs out, girl xD It wasn't the best collaboration, but it was pretty good. Glamarous by the girls were awesome, lol. It was neatly done, and then Boom Boom Pow just POW, exploded into awesomeness and some great hype, lol. I love that performance. And I think Fergie's vocals improved a lot, live! lol. And here comes one of my favorite collaborations of the night - Allison and Cyndi Lauper! Really, Allison sang so much better than Cyndi herself, haha! But yeah, their harmony was perrrfecto! Ryan Seacrest was like, '..the very talented, Allison Iraheta!' XD Boo Cyndi. lol. The other favorite I was talking about was the one by Kiss and Adam. Wow wow wow, lol. Adam can be a stand-in vocal for them XD I was grasping for air and grabbing onto my chair for that one, lol. It was very grand. Danny and Lionel Ritchie's was pretty well-sung, except they look a little awkward with each other xD Probably more on Danny's side being starstruck or something, lol. It happens! Haha. Other BIG, BIG stars that performed were Queen (my jaw literally dropped xD), Rod Stewart (wowow), and Santana (that one oldie I know of, I can't believe I was singing along to 'Smooth', lol. It was back when we still played cassettes in the car. Really, memories!).
I LOVED the introduction of the judges. I. Was. Laughing. My. Ass. Off. xD For me for you, for you for me, honey, sweetie, the freaking wide range of vocabulary XD, and the one with a great sense of hearing, lol. Hilarious. I think Kara didn't even notice her habit of using honey and sweetie xD
And the uber lame Awards? xD Not going to even care about the Outstanding Male and Female. Hell, the Best Attitude one rocks! lol! GO KARA! You can sing, you got the looks, you've got heart, you can write songs, YOU GO GIRL! *Loves on* lol. I was literally laughing out in my room like an idiot, lol. Was that bad? xD
Just to add in a quick one - Kris sucks, so badly especially at 'No Boundaries'. BOOOOOOOOO!

Last weekend was one of the most eventful and entertaining weekend for a long time now. lol. Despite having reached home tired and drop-dead on a Lazy Friday, we (beloved cousins) were all pumped up for an impromptu call to watch Angels and Demons xD Not just that, but at 1am in the middle of the night! lol xD I was saying how long it has been since I last caught a Midnight Movie. It felt great, the fresh air, the cool breeze while walking back home after the movie. Love them all - can't believe there were a total of 9 of us that night. It was crazy, haha. Although I'd say Angels and Demons is better than The DaVinci Code, the former was quite a drag somewhere in the middle part, where it was like repeatedly 2 minutes before each hour (if you have caught it, you'll know what I'm talking about). It was predictable, and I was just plainly waiting for it to be over. But otherwise, it was nail-bitingly tense, and I was at the edge of my seat most of the time. lol. I don't understand why the movie is PG and not any ratings higher. lol. All in all, I thought the movie was a tad' bit creepy. Like, I will not feel haunted even after watching a Horror film, but this kind of, Christian, godly, and religious thing, just makes me shudder and have all my hair stand even after the movie. Eeks. lol. I slept at 6am that morning, only because we went to McDonald's after the movie and only reached home at 5am. Of course, the internet addiction had me for an hour before I was pulled into my nest by my tortured eyes xD Seriously, I can't remember the last time I slept at 6am. lol.
I slept all the way until 3pm before I was woken up (see, it was a forced wake-up, not a natural one xD), because we were running late to go for the Mass Screening of the Big BPL Clash between ManUtd and Arsenal. 5 were there, out of the 9 who went to the movie the previous night. It was at the Singapore Flyer (darn inaccessible). We were there early, thus we managed to grab some front seats at the tentage. Of courseee, I was rooting for The Gunners! I was wearing the Gunners' Jersey that evening, and it was pretty much a wrong move, because I got caught to appear on air. lol. It was really embarrassing xD But well, it was an experience afterall, and, GUNNERS FTW! People who have watched that match HAVE got to agree that the Red Devils didn't deserve to win the title that day. They didn't do as well as their guests did. BOO MANU! lol.
The day ended at about half past twelve, when it was finally time to sleep again. Awh, sleep has never been sweeter. lol.

From history to today. lol. Not really today, but yeah, more recent happenings. Yesterday was the SMART Recruitment Interview. Even though I didn't have lessons yesterday, I came to realize that I actually wasn't a bit reluctant to go for the interview. Which, I feel was quite something. To do something that you actually like, and not complain about it. It feels good. What I like about SMART is the the lecturers are seriously like your friends. They joke around like you and your close friends do - they can crack and receive lame jokes equally well. lol. It doesn't even feel formal or restrained whenever we have a meeting. lol. Fantastic. And the interview went pretty good. Of course, DTRM interviewees were living up to their standard xD DTRM HAS the reputation of being high and sociable, and my group, at least, was nothing less than that. lol. It was so much fun talking to them. And tada, it feels accomplished to have made friends with some 10 new peeps in school. lol.
One event over, and the next is tailing right behind. It's the Training and Bonding Camp. I picked that one up just for the sheer fun of organizing camps xD Although it's only 2D1N, there was quite some stuff to do already, and with the much much limited time, and me being the natural procrastinator, I got to start working on those things already xD Bless my soul! Haha.

I can't wait until everything is over. I guess I'll miss studying a lot, and probably nothing else. Time and time again I tell myself things will change, but then I was being let down again. lol. Probably just being too naive, but yes, we just have to realize people don't change even with years for them, let alone overnight. So, yeah, just be happy, be contented, be yourself (and yeah, don't know why but I hate to see people imitating, and not being themselves, it bugs me, I know it's probably just me anyhows), do what you want, be who you want to be, and hopefully make YOUR life a happy one, not trying to let anyone else do that for you, or worse, spoil it for you. Met some many wonderful people, but more often that not, they are underrated and underexposed. It's how unfair life is. lol.
On a lighter note, I got myself 4 tickets to this month's 987 RSVP! Wootwoot! I was thinking about drinking once every quarterly, and the last time was in March, now in May, so it kind of fits eh, lol. It's gonna be at Velvet Underground, haven't been there yet, so it's probably going to be an eye opener :D Yeah, let's just say Clubbing isn't my thing, unless it's events like these. lol. And I too, won a Nokia Headset back in Mid-April. Haven't been contacted yet, guess it's time to contact them, haha.
In conjunction with my strong view of the last American Idol being better than the current American Idol, I've changed the blog song to David Cook's Permanent. Listen to it; Feel it. He wrote it for his deceased brother who passed away from Cancer. There's a line that goes 'Forgive my promise that you'd never see me cry.' It just adds so much meaning to it, when you know, that his brother didn't want his Cancer to affect anyone else - be it when David Cook was in the Idol Journey or after. He had probably shed tears for him, and, that line, just has so much weight on it now.
