What a good time, is a phrase most suitable to describe NTU's incidents this past week. In a span of only 1 week, or less than that, there has been 2 suicide cases in NTU, a period of time so close to the Open House for Universities. Everyone who thinks that it'll not affect people's choice for a University -is- in denial. lol. But wow, I can't believe it when I heard the news. Icky creepy.
Sooo. I went to Genting Highland for the second time (yeah, go on and laugh xD), had loads of fun with my cousin and sister. The journey up there was great. Singing to those radio songs like White Chicks does, lol. Seriously? I love the weather up there. lol. I was all heated up, up till now - the weather just seems too hot to handle. lol. I need airconditioner. xD Anyywayys. Let the pictures help do the talking a little.
This house over here, has a nice architectural design. It's simple yet beautiful. Spotted on the way up to Genting.
SAY HELLO TO GENTING HIGHLAND!
Day 1 was Indoor Fun, 'cos it was after lunch and we thought it'd suck to get an Outdoor ticket that late, with the Outdoor Theme Park closing at 7pm. PLUS, it started raining in the late afternoon, so, phew. xD Euro Express. Probably the best Indoor ride. lol xD Seriously, Indoor ticket's a waste. Haha.
Ferris Wheel.
A hot shot from the Boat Ride.
Here's the Boat Ride, with my cousin.
And a, mhmm, yeah, planned shot, actually xD
We took the Flying Coaster, which was outdoors, but it's not included in the Outdoor Theme Park Ticket. It was CRAZYY, but hell lotsa fun. It's the one where you lie down horizontally, and they'll bring you on a ride, turning you 360degrees. Hahah. Much fun, although at first you'd be scared till you shit on your pants xD And Day 1 continues with shopping - more than expected. lol. Each of us spent about RM100 bucks on shopping. lol. Bought for myself a top and a shorts. Love 'em :D
We saw this freaking nice Mahjong tiles - RM300plus bucks. Really, it's hawt. lol.
Day 2 was kicked off fantabulously with the breakfast we had at a cafe.
Turkey and Cheese Quiche. Yummyy. And I ordered a Chocolate Danish (whoosh!) and shared an Iced Irish Latte with my sister. All for like 7 bucks SingDollar? Steal. lol.
First ride taken at the Outdoor Theme Park - Spinner! I love it so much. lol. We took it as our first ride, and our last ride of the day xD
Second ride - I forgot the name of the ride, but it's something like the Luge but we can't control it. It basically slides down a slide with turns here and there. lol. It was fun, but too short.
Antique Car xD It's seriously lame, but we make-do with it and enjoyed it nevertheless.
Flying Dragon (roller coaster, DAMN Cyclone for not working). It was great fun, something like the Euro Express indoor? We'd continue taking the ride over and over again (because basically there're like no lines to every rides, lol), but the freaking service suuuckked. Because there were still empty seats here and there, but we have like 3 people or more each group in the line, so the service provider was like 'I can wait'. Seriously, the urge to give her one tight slap was THIS HUGE. lol. And the group next to us was like 'if she's in Singapore, she'd be gone'. xD So true. We didn't even bother lodging a complaint - let's face it, they don't care about quality service. That's when the 3 of us started to miss Singapore's service, like so much.
Random shots at the waterfall. Typical tourists xD
Super chio theme park skyline XD
The mist at night.
And us, flying without wings. xD
And we took the Viking Ride (and rushed to the back seat xD), and Fun Kart (ZOMGOD MY FAVORITE xD). We'd take more if not for the rain in the middle of the noon.
Table setting at one of the Chinese Restaurant. Damnnn classy.
Camwhoring. lol.
Annddd.
Home Sweet Home.
It was an overall, very fruitful trip. The outdoor theme park was fun :D The food we had was, ahhhmazing. lol. We had the Shanghai Dim Sum thingy at First World, and we ordered like nobody's business, 'cos we're rich like that /shifty. xD And we had a dinner buffet at the Kampong thingiemabob place just above the Genting Hotel (where we stay), but the food kinda sucked, lol. And we caught a movie there - Watchmen, which, all of us hated so much. lol. Spoiler ahead, stop if you don't wanna know: Because the good characters all dieeee! Okay, not all, but most of the good people! It's like evil preceeds good. Excuse me, but it sucked. lol. The weather. Whoohoo. The only bad thing is that I got a little altitude change sickness when we are coming down. It suuuckked D: It was the first time I experienced it, and I thought I was going deaf. Mhmm, not really, but yea' xD Oh, did I mention we were there with 4 adults? xD But let's not get me started on how much time they spent in the casinos in the 3 days. lol.
Mmkays. That's all for Genting. I saw this tag in Facebook, and I tried it out. As mentioned in the Facebook, seriously, it's freaking accurate. xD
Your view on yourself: Other people find you very interesting, but you are really hiding your true self. Your friends love you because you are a good listener. They'll probably still love you if you learn to be yourself with them.
--> Kayy. I'm not gonna comment on that :P
The type of girlfriend/boyfriend you are looking for: You like serious, smart and determined people. You don't judge a book by its cover, so good-looking people aren't necessarily your style. This makes you an attractive person in many people's eyes.
--> This is too true. I tend to read people a lot? It's freaky, but yeah. lol.
Your readiness to commit to a relationship: You prefer to get to know a person very well before deciding whether you will commit to the relationship.
--> This is too true. Like I've told, I don't know who, but I don't believe in loving you back just because you love me, neither do I believe in 'love can be cultured'. lol.
The seriousness of your love: Your have very sensible tactics when approaching the opposite sex. In many ways people find your straightforwardness attractive, so you will find yourself with plenty of dates.
--> I am straightforward in many ways, yes, but being attractive? I don't know xD
Your views on education: Education is very important in life. You want to study hard and learn as much as you can.
--> This is too true too xD I really think education is very important. Haha. Although it's not like I love studying, seriously.
The right job for you: You have plenty of dream jobs but have little chance of doing any of them if you don't focus on something in particular. You need to choose something and go for it to be happy and achieve success.
--> Freaky true. Chef, Bartender, Lawyer, Hotelier, I don't know, what more? I need to focus and decide on one :/
How do you view success: You are afraid of failure and scared to have a go at the career you would like to have in case you don't succeed. Don't give up when you haven't yet even started! Be courageous.
--> I -am- afraid of failure - I tend to shun it whenever possible.
What are you most afraid of: You are afraid of having no one to rely on in times of trouble. You don't ever want to be unable to take care of yourself. Independence is important to you.
--> People who know me knows this is so true. lol.
Who is your true self: You are full of energy and confidence. You are unpredictable, with moods changing as quickly as an ocean. You might occasionally be calm and still, but never for long.
--> Too true too, oh gosh. lol.
If you know me, and you know those are so true for me, you should try it here: http://www.quizbox.com/personality/test82.aspx
Hokayys. That's all. Long post, I know, a round of applause for you if you've read till here. lol.
